Smart Sorting of Fish Bones and Plastic Foreign Bodies in Food
Category: AI
Exhibitor: MING CHI UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLGY
Booth No: N432
Characteristic
Fish bones in food have always been a troublesome problem around the world. To exclude fish bones or plastic packaging fragments from a large number of powdered foods (such as fish floss), this technology utilizes the high-specificity fluorescence imaging, the high-speed flow of free fall for the high inspection volume, and the AI algorithms for high accuracy, high throughput, and high-precision removal of fish bones and plastic piece foreign bodies as well as reducing the amount of accompanying powdered food. It also uses the IoT technology to complete remote monitoring, recording, and update the AI algorithm. Hence, the workstation could remove fish bones to meet the needs of food factories with daily ton-level output, and check the food safety of consumers.
