Characteristic
This invention focuses on the research and improvement of light-emitting devices and the material composition of their drain electrodes. Through concrete experiments and model simulations, it has been verified that when the drain electrode includes a carrier injection conduction material layer, and this layer is in contact with the light-emitting material layer of the device to induce band bending, the bent energy band can accumulate minority carriers.
When the minority carriers are electrons, the energy band of the light-emitting layer must bend downward due to the effect of the injection conduction layer. Conversely, when the minority carriers are holes, the energy band must bend upward. The strong Coulombic capture of minority carriers with low mobility can effectively promote electron-hole recombination.
Therefore, this band bending and carrier accumulation phenomenon has been confirmed as a key factor in achieving the intended effects of this invention.
